Get your VIBE ON as Lenovo formally launches the new VIBE Shot; a new advanced Smartphone camera that promises the best of both worlds.
The official launch was held at the Art In Island last July 29 as Lenovo launches their latest gadget. The VIBE Shot is part of Lenovo’s new VIBE ON brand that promises to empower individuals to go on their way. The new Smartphone packed with the new latest technology and features, its stylish design and powerful 5 inch with a 1080 x 1920p resolution smartphone that features an advanced 16 MP camera on the rear with a dedicated shutter button; located bottom right-side of the phone and 8MP on front for budding and seasoned photographers alike.
I personally got my hands-on the unit and I must say the unit has a solid build and it has a sleek design. The VIBE Shot features a 16MP snapper at the back with 16:9 BSI sensor, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Tri-color flash and Infra Red (IR) autofocus sensor; that focuses more accurately at speeds 2x faster than normal auto focus, it can also automatically adjust luminosity, depending on lighting conditions, meaning you can take shots even in the dark, and you won’t miss a single moment when taking photos. When I took pictures on this camera, the image that I took was crisp and clear. There’s also a Pana-Selfie function where you can take a selfie photo of yourself (or with friends) in different shot angles and stitched the photos to make into a panoramic scale shot. The video recording feature can record 1080p HD videos with OIS.
The camera has 2 functions: Auto and Pro mode button, located near the volume control, right side of the phone where you can switch to 2 modes: Auto mode which is an ideal for beginners while the Pro function enables manual settings ideal for professional photographers who want optimize in taking pictures.
The smartphone function isn’t left out, and it comes with nifty features: the VIBE Shot runs on 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor; at 1.79Ghz and runs on Android OS 5.0 Lollipop. It has a 3Gb of RAM and an internal 32Gb of storage: now you don’t have any excuse for having a low storage on your phone; it’s really perfect for taking your pictures. Of course, if the 32Gb storage wasn’t enough, it can be expanded up to 128Gb of storage via microSD card. The VIBE Shot has dual micro SIM slots, can connect to the internet via its built-in Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual band, hotspot, or via LTE (4G) up to 150Mbps (DL) / 50Mbps (UL) and Bluetooth 4.1 LE for transferring data and content. The VIBE Shot is powered with a non-removable 3000mAH battery: perfect for taking photos, texting and social networking. It comes in 3 different colors: Carmine Red, Graphite Grey, which are now both available, while Pearl White will be released later this year.
The VIBE Shot comes with a protective phone casing and a screen protector. It’s now available in the Philippines and in partnership with the premier online shop, Lazada, they are offering the VIBE Shot smartphone at an affordable price, it can be purchased at their site for only Php 16,999.00.
