COVERAGE 2
In light of Huawei’s latest phone release, they have sponsored a DOTA gaming event highlighting 2 of the Philippines’ top Dota teams! The Face Off event! Was the first competition of this scale. Prizes and giveaways were a plenty, those handed out to the audience included gaming keyboards and mouses. Ones any gamer would be more than happy to own.

Dota would be the only game to make an appearance that day. But we were curious what this event would mean for the rest of the gaming community in the country. What the organizers had to say about it was. “As long as the demand is there, there will be more events like this”. This could be exciting news for those who play other competitive games such as Overwatch and Tekken.

Huawei is definitely making it’s presence known in more ways than one, on top of a new phone release and this event. They also launched a new streaming app with the Philippine consumer in mind. Vidplus is an affordable service that can be availed at 10 pesos a day. On it, consumers can view e-gaming livestreams, both Hollywood and Asian movies, and educational content for kids. It’s definitely an app worth to try considering what more it has to offer compared to those currently in the Philippines.
